At the time of writing, the overall amount raised is £6,900. With gift aid on top that figure will be in excess of £8,000. Many contributions have come from ex-players and friends, parents, Stalwarts of the club and the local community alike. It’s been great to hear and read the messages of support.
To those who have been able to donate, THANK YOU! Every penny will be well spent in ensuring that LCC is in good health to come out of these challenging times.
Equally, there are many volunteers who have been contributing work hours to the current club redecoration project. To date we calculate that more than 1000 hours have been donated by members to the project. That in itself is incredible and I can’t thank those who have helped enough.
For those who have donated - either in time or money - there will be a visible and permanent recognition of all those who have contributed on a new installation at Combe Park (with their permission of course).
The fundraiser is still live, so if you missed it last time and feel that you can help out, that would very much be appreciated. You can follow the link here:

Once again, thank you for your support.
It is so frustrating that cricket itself has been delayed to July at the earliest – let’s hope we get to see some play at Combe Park this Summer. Whatever happens this year though we're sure that restrictions around social distancing will mean that things won’t feel normal for a while yet. The safety of cricketers, supporters and our community will of course be front of mind whatever happens.
As a club, we maintain proactive in seeking help and support from all potential channels and are convinced that we'll ride out our current challenges and when we are able to return to normal, we’ll do so in style, thanks to your help and support.
There will be more email updates and social media activity over the coming days – including a video interview with our first team Captain Oskar Kolk. So, if you haven’t already, please do follow us on Twitter and Facebook.
Many thanks again – and we hope you and your families stay safe and well.
