With near 200 years of history, LCC is one of the most revered cricket clubs in the country and the “Godfather of Cricket in Somerset”. With over 400 members, we have a large and thriving community of cricketers, social members and juniors.

18 test cricketers from five countries have represented the club – famously including WG Grace (1862-1881), Sir Vivian Richards (1973) and most recently Brad Evans who played for LCC in 2021 before making his international debut for Zimbabwe in 2022.

We field three Saturday league sides, a Sunday Development XI, and Lansdown Phoenix - our Women’s team. Lansdown Cricket Club is one of the biggest activators of ECB All Stars (5-8yrs) in Somerset and we have age cricket from 9 to Under 19’s. Not only that, we offer Walking cricket throughout the summer.

Off the pitch, Lansdown cricket club is right at the heart of our local community. We’re open 365 days of the year. We offer lots of social events, food and drink all year and are a destination for live sports on screen (Big Bath Rugby days through the winter especially!)
